Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong – the narrative RPG from Big Bad Wolf, developers of The Council – is almost here! With the release date next month, on May 19th, it’s about time to delve deeper into the vampiric Boston and see what awaits us there.
Let’s start with the basics – this video explains what Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is in 60 seconds:
If you’re interested in the unique RPG mechanics of the game, the RPG Trailer below gives you a better look at them! From the usage of Disciplines to the character sheets in the background of each character you meet (or control yourself), Swansong may often feel like the tabletop game, with the dice determining some of your victories… or failures.
If you’re interested in pre-ordering the game, there are multiple ways to do so!
Physical pre-orders are now available on the Nacon website including OST Vinyl (while stocks last!). Other physical retailers also include the Vinyl as a bonus, so please check with your local retailers for availability.
If you preorder the digital version of the game on consoles (PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbos Series X|S – Nintendo Switch version will release later!), you will receive Alternate Outfits Pack and Vampire: The Masquerade – Coteries of New York as a bonus.
Digital pre-orders on Epic Store will receive Alternative Outfits Pack. Keep in mind the game is a timed exclusive on EGS on PC, meaning you won’t find it on Steam this year!
Let’s talk special editions – The Primogen Edition includes the “Artifacts Pack”, a collection of items that may prove useful in your investigations, and the Victoria Ash DLC which sees Jessica Chobot reprise her role from LA by Night in her interactions with Emem, to whom she functions as a Mawla.
On Playstation, the Primogen Edition gets you a cross-gen version for both PS4 and PS5. On Xbox, the Primogen Edition gives access on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The Primogen Edition on Epic Games Store includes the Artifacts Pack, Victoria Ash DLC and the Digital Soundtrack. On top of that, it’s 10% off until launch, making the price difference in between the basic version and the Primogen edition very small.
